The roots of T&H Contract Services
Founded in 1974 by Peter Aldridge and his uncle Sid Thomas T&H Contract Services began as a small local family business. The baton was passed solely to Peter in 1984 and under his leadership the business grew from strength to strength.
Acquiring a number of local businesses to broaden our expertise and expand our portfolio. T&H Contract Services acquired Superclean of Havant, Victory Cleaning Services, Southbourne Cleaning Services and Portchester Cleaning Services bringing their specialities under the T&H umbrella.
Pete's unique customer focused approach ensured great working relationship with clients as well as a 'no job too big' ethos which made him their go-to man in a crisis.
Pete's philosophy of putting others first extended into his charity work and fund raising for local good causes, which continues in his honour with the Peter Aldridge Foundation.
Sadly Pete passed away on 11 February 2021 but the business continues to be run with the same passion and values he instilled in it.
Moving to high spec offices in Havant
After many years located with Southsea, we have now moved out of the city. Working from new offices in Havant with a dedicated new warehouse area, drive in van bay and designated parking - our new workspace has everything we need to support the future growth and expansion of the business.
A legacy continued
Welcoming Pete's son Mike Aldridge to the business in 2009 as Operations Director and then as Managing Director infused the business with enthusiasm and the drive to innovate and modernise.
Mike's own background stood him in good stead with running his own carpet cleaning business Carpet and General successfully for many years.
Mike pushed the business forward with the acquisition of WOW Carpet Cleaning and technological advances to streamline the operations and administration of the business.
He continues at the helm of the business today, actively working within the day to day running of the business.
