Meet our team
Our team of cleaners cover the cleaning at Spinnaker Tower 7 days per week to ensure to the site is beautifully clean and ready to welcome visitors each morning. Starting early and cleaning the Waterfront Café and Clouds café as well as the viewing decks, gift shop and lifts, our team maintain excellent standards throughout.
Our team of carefully trained contract cleaners work together to clean throughout the space. Our contracts management team visit the site regularly to carry out audits, checking cleaning standards, carrying out training and liaising with the customer.
Our regular checks help the team to maintain high standards throughout all the areas and for each specific task. As our management team visit regularly they are able to advise the customer on deep cleaning and periodic maintenance tasks that support the day to day cleaning.
Periodic deep cleaning of the floors helps to maintain a high shine and removes any ingrained dirt build up especially in high traffic areas.
Keeping the interior surface of the windows clean and fingerprint free is a daily priority – our team want to ensure that visitors enjoy uninterrupted views of Portsmouth, the Historic Dockyard, the Solent and beyond. Cleaning the viewing deck is a highlight for our team in the early morning as it is truly a spectacular place to watch the sunrise!
The team are also responsible for keeping all the other areas of the Spinnaker Tower clean, in particular the lift which takes the visitors up to the viewing deck. The team help to keep the stainless steel lift gleaming by buffing it each day. The cleaning team ensure that the toilet areas, the stairwells and reception are all cleaned to the same high standard as the viewing areas, keeping each area of this iconic visitor attraction hygienically clean and welcoming.
