Student Cribs 2025

At T&H Contract Services Ltd we have worked with Student Cribs for the last 6 years to provide post-tenancy cleaning for their numerous multi-occupancy student houses. This presents a number of logistical challenges for the team, find out how we overcome them to deliver a fantastic service, year in year out!

Due to very high demand for accommodation in the Portsmouth area Student Cribs operate an extremely quick turnaround for their properties. This presents a challenge with tenancies ending on Saturday morning at 9am - the properties then need to be cleaned over the weekend - ready for Monday. We all know that students often leave a mess behind so our first port of call in planning the big weekend of cleaning is to visit each site individually.

We meet with the tenants, let them know that we will be coming in to clean the property. We can then secure access to rooms that have already been vacated ahead of the tenancy ending. We check for waste left behind and ensure that we have all access codes to room and keys for front doors. Liaising with the student cribs team helps us ensure that we have a clear plan of action to avoid wasted time when we need such a quick turnaround.

Our team arrange for gardens to be cut back and cleared as well as deep cleaning to ovens, fridges and microwaves. Once the properties had been cleaned our carpet cleaning team finished the job by carefully cleaning all carpeted areas.

By Sunday evening the properties were spotlessly cleaned and ready for new tenants to enjoy.
